The process starts with a New Client Advising with Kathe Lee, academic specialist. She will build a full plan that gets you to your goals. If LeeWay Academy is a good option, she will include that information in her initial evaluation. Every student's situation is different. Our goal is to get you to your goal and sometimes that is best done via a public school, homeschool, or a different private school. The first step is to determine if LeeWay is the right fit for you. To learn more about the admissions process, please complete our contact form here. Once completed, you will be contacted by our LeeWay team.
Our headquarters are in Texas but our students are in 35 states and 11 countries. Not only do our high school students reside all of the world, they ultimately attend college all over the world. Our role is to create a high school structure around an individual student that meets the legal requirements for their specific state or country, then assure that the student is learning optimally while maintaining enough freedom to pursue their career and personal aspirations.
Private instruction and tutoring are a foundational part of LeeWay Academy. We have in-house instruction and tutoring available, plus a list of recommended, vetted outside tutors who can come to your home, meet you locally, meet you at LeeWay, or even meet you out of state while you are away at competitions or trainings. Colleges Love LeeWay Students! The reason for this is that we create the perfect high school record by following a state-sanctioned Distinguished Degree Plan (DDP). Top colleges insist on the DDP plus it assures eligibility for NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA, USCAA, and NJCAA.
The Distinguished Degree Plan has 26 credits:
ENGLISH - E1, E2, E3, and any Adv. English
MATH - Alg1, Geom, Alg2, and any Adv. Math
SCIENCE - Biology, IPC, and any 2 Adv. Sciences
SOCIAL STUDIES - US History, W. History, Economics, and US Government
F. LANGUAGE - Any 2 years in the same foreign language
FINE ART - Two semesters in any mix of choir, theater, dance, art, music, etc.
PE - Two semester in any mix of sports, band, fitness, etc.
ELECTIVE - Ten semesters in anything that helps you develop
This is exactly the degree plan that most top private schools use, the difference is in how the classes are setup. First, all LeeWay students can replace up to 2 years of high school classes with college credits. Second, each class is custom built to teach our students what they need in order to succeed. Third, we remove the busywork and stress to speed up the process while optimizing retention. And our students are happy! Happy students are successful students.
LeeWay Academy does not maintain a contract.
That's right . . . we don't need it.
Students don't leave LeeWay!
We are a custom built school just for you. Why would you need anything else?

List of General Services & Costs:
Academic Advising - Basically, we are strategists. We find solutions to education issues. For most people, it starts in high school. We do a full 2 hr Academic Advising session to assess where you are and where you are trying to get to. That usually involves: picking high school classes, testing and test prep, career planning via aptitude testing, and getting into college & getting it paid for. We do all of this through our A La Carte system.
Initial Session - $750 for 2 hrs plus Report
Follow-up Sessions - $5/min (Zoom or In Office)
Emailed Questions - $3/min
Phone Calls - $3/min
All sessions must be scheduled and are on an as-available basis
New Client Sessions - New clients spend 2 hours with Kathe for a one-on-one advising and evaluation. During this time she gets to know a student's goals, strengths, learning style, limitations, etc. Then she shows you all the possible options for that student to achieve their goals. She submits a full written report so you have a working plan. This is called our NEW CLIENT ADVISING SESSION and costs $750.
Test Analysis - This is a one-off service available upon request. Email us the score reports for at least 2 tests (example: 1 SAT and 1 ACT). Kathe will run a full analysis and reply with a Tests Plan that includes which test to take next, when to take it, and how to prep for that one test to achieve optimal outcome. Cost is $150.
Aptitude Testing - This is a one-off service available upon request. Kathe provides testing material via email then a follow-up analysis and recommendations are done in person or via Zoom. Includes a PDF report, and costs $350.

We will optimize your transcript then email back and forth with you till it is validated. We will notarize and submit. The final working document will be yours along with the original notarized copy. Cost is $3/min. Time varies but initial edits are is 45-60 minutes on average.
Texas Grad Pack - This is a one-time service for graduating seniors. Once your student is confirmed ready to graduate, you may order a Texas Grad Pack. It arrives by mail or can be picked up in person. It is a large envelope that includes your Diploma, Holder, Commemorative Tassel, Copy of your Final HS Docs, and Congratulatory Letter). Cost is $120.
Multiple Children in Same Family - Each child is unique and has unique goals, learning styles, concerns, etc., and each child requires a custom plan. So each new child from the same family will need a New Client Session. We recommend you start with the oldest child since the benefit will likely be the greatest. Then use what you learn from that older child's session and apply it to your younger students until they are able to be seen individually.
Ages Served - While we are skilled in working with learning differences of all ages, but we are currently focusing on strategies for high school AND college. We ask families to wait until a student has finished 7th grade before they make an appointment. We see new students through the final year of college. We also provide Law School & Medical School Admissions.
We do not sell a package. We do not think regular visits are an efficient use of your money or time. Instead, we see each student one time for a New Client Session. Then, as a Current Client, we are available on an as-needed basis for any follow-up questions or issues such as picking classes, transcripts, college applications, etc.
